Does Hylo actually run API calls or is it just knowledge?
Both. Hylo's MCP exposes knowledge tools (look up actions, triggers, schemas) and execution tools (run any of 645 GHL endpoints against your account). Same key, same flow.
How does Hylo connect to my GHL account?
Two options — paste a Personal Integration Token from GHL when your AI calls Hylo, or connect once via OAuth on hylo.pro and we handle auth on every call. Either way, Hylo never stores your raw GHL credentials in plaintext.
How do I get access?
Start the free trial above — you'll sign in with your email, add a card, and land on your dashboard with an API key. From there, paste the Quick Start snippet into Claude Code and you're running. No card charge for 7 days, cancel anytime. The free trial applies to your first subscription; if you've subscribed before, resubscribing bills right away.
What do I need before Hylo can run API calls?
Your GHL location ID and a Personal Integration Token for that sub-account (GHL → Settings → Private Integrations). Add them to the MCP config as GHL_LOCATION_ID and GHL_PIT_TOKEN, or store the connection on your dashboard instead. Knowledge lookups work without either — execution needs one of them.
Can I use one key for both OpenClaw and MCP?
Yes! The same API key works across all three channels: ClawHub skill, MCP server, and direct REST API calls.
What if I hit the rate limit?
You'll get a 429 response. You can upgrade to a higher plan for more requests, or wait for your rolling 24-hour window to reset.
Do you offer annual billing?
Not yet, but it's on our roadmap. For now, all plans are billed monthly with no long-term commitment.
